Research Areas:

Simon is a chartered electrical engineer and heads the Radiation Dosimetry Department at UKHSA’s Centre for Radiation, Chemical and Environmental Hazards. His own research focuses on assessing exposures to electromagnetic fields, including from new technologies and in supporting the dosimetry aspects of experimental and epidemiological studies. Simon also heads the UKHSA Secretariat to the Committee on Medical Aspects of Radiation in the Environment (COMARE).
